Dr Victor Khoo

As Director of the Land Survey Division of Singapore Land Authority (SLA), Victor Khoo is responsible for a variety of geospatial and mapping-related projects which encompass the collection, management and dissemination of geospatial and mapping information. He has a specific interest in the areas of differential GNSS, cadastral surveying, 3D mapping and spatial data infrastructure.
As of August 2022, Victor became the first Singaporean appointed Co-Chair of the United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM), leading their geospatial expert community on land administration and management.
Victor is also a Registered Surveyor – a professional surveyor, registered under the purview of the Land Surveyors Act administered by Singapore Land Surveyors Board.
Victor has obtained a Ph.D. of Engineering and a Master of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Bachelor of Land Surveying from the University Technology of Malaysia.
