Josef Tan

Trained in geography at both undergraduate and graduate levels in Singapore and the United States, Josef began his geography career in 2003, beginning as a classroom teacher, progressing to school management and to his current role as a geography specialist at the Ministry of Education, Singapore.

The scope of Josef’s role includes syllabus development, learning materials creation, and teacher professional development. Josef has presented at key international conferences on geography teaching and learning, including the Southeast Asian Geography Association International Conference, and the UK Geographical Association Annual Conference.
