Saibal Das Chowdhury is an urban technologist and CEO and Co-Founder of Urbanetic — a ‘City-as-a-Service’ software platform for sustainable built environments, their planning, development financing and performance management through digitalisation.
A former VP of Hewlett-Packard for start-ups investments and VP of AT&T Solutions Asia-Pacific, Saibal has been among the pioneers in the areas of industrial robotics and Product Life-Cycle management (PLM) technologies.
Prior to cofounding Urbanetic, he has served as CEO of a regional urban management solutions firm for six years — designing and implementing large scale ‘smart city’ solutions across the region.
He has worked internationally for over 30 years across Asia, Europe and the US in executive leadership positions in R&D, new product development and consulting functions with global technology firms EMAG, HP and AT&T.
