Certification provides recognised assurance that client and partner information security is managed through a robust, internationally recognised framework.
Esri Singapore has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification for our information security management system, following an independent external audit. For clients, the certification provides assurance that their information is managed within a trusted, internationally recognised security framework, one designed to minimise risk, strengthen governance and protect sensitive data.
“Earning ISO 27001 certification is a significant milestone that underscores our dedication to protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information entrusted to us by our clients and partners,” said Joe Lee, Chief Executive Officer, Esri Singapore.
What ISO/IEC means for our clients
Many organisations that use Esri technology handle operational, asset‑based, and location‑specific information, data that is often sensitive and critical to everyday operations. ISO/IEC 27001 certification demonstrates that Esri Singapore has the controls, processes, and governance needed to manage this information securely and consistently.
For clients, this helps to:
- Streamline security assessments
- Support compliance and procurement requirements
- Provide clarity about how information is safeguarded across delivery and support
- Reduce risk when working with external partners
The certification also reflects a commitment to continually improving security practices as threats, technologies, and standards evolve.

A milestone worth celebrating
To recognise the achievement, the Esri Singapore team gathered for a small celebration in the office, celebrating the moment in a distinctly Singaporean way, by striking the traditional, ceremonial gong.
Looking ahead, Esri Singapore will continue to maintain and improve our information security processes through regular review and independent audits, ensuring clients can rely on consistent, trusted and transparent security practices.
