Leslie Wong

With a career spanning two decades and three countries, Leslie Wong has established a reputation as one of the region’s most respected GIS leaders.

Since becoming Esri South Asia’s managing director in 2006, Leslie has worked tirelessly to encourage and inspire others across the region to use geographic insight to make a positive difference.

Based in Singapore, Leslie oversees Esri South Asia’s business operations in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Prior to his appointment as Esri South Asia managing director, Leslie served as chief executive officer for Esri Singapore. He has also held management positions throughout Singapore and China in the IT and manufacturing sectors.

A passionate supporter of his local community, Leslie served as a director on the board of the YMCA of Singapore from 2011 to 2017, and its president from 2017 to 2019.

Leslie holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration from London Business School.
